"Meicha Sekiguchien"MUSEUM

In 1882, the founder Souzaburo Sekiguchi changed the name of the

  "Tsugaya" after his hometown.

Our company started as a tea wholesaler and retailer in

Senjucho, Utsunomiya City.

After that, in 1897, it moved to the current

Baba-dori (former Aioi-cho).

Changed the store name to "Togaya Sekiguchien".

In 1950, it was registered as Meicha Sekiguchien

Co., Ltd. and continues to this day.

1970s~1980.As a teahouse where there is a long line, it has been patronized by customers from inside and outside the prefecture to this day.

This mark is the original tea display mark of Meicha   Sekiguchien.
